Host James Dyke

jdyke-29nov-ne-s1Dr James Dyke is a lecturer in Complex Systems Simulation at the University of Southampton where he models the Earth system in order to try to understand how it works and how humans interact with it. He writes for The Conversation about energy & environment matters in his column Eccentric Orbits. James is a co-chair of Sustainability Science Southampton which is an internationally recognised centre of interdisciplinary research excellence advancing the understanding of sustainability science towards alleviating some of society’s global dilemmas.

James hosted the first TEDxSouthamptonUniversity in 2013.
